Village Journey
Hut
When was the last time I visited here?
It is now near the end of summer, and once it was the end of autumn.
A misty rain was falling in that small hut.
I held my hands over the stove to dry my shoes.
Young me, all those who were young.
Ah, I have always wished for a scene like that day.
A bright fire, hot tea, and a hard chair.
If only those things could last.
I have thought many times that most of my life would have been fulfilled.
Until today.
It is a lively place I visited for the first time in a long time.
People's voices are coming and going, and corn is being sold outside.
It is difficult to think of the dark, gloomy sky of a long time ago.
It is not that my heart is troubled now, but the dark scenery of the past may be me.
But the stove burning red in the center of it is infinitely nostalgic and dear.
My beloved, I walked from here.

Letter to Y. Of S.W. Hawking's THE CHRONOLOGY PROTECTION CONJECTURE.. 4 August 2018. Translated by Google
Dear Y,
Thank you for your email despite your busy schedule.
I am also studying little by little in preparation for the fall.
As with anything, the more I study, the more I understand.
As this is related to my main topic, I am currently reading a 1991 academic lecture by Dr. Hawking, who passed away this spring, titled The Chronology Protection Conjecture.
NTT Publishing has the full English version available.
The original title is THE CHRONOLOGY PROTECTION CONJECTURE.
I have always understood the word Chronology to mean chronological order,
but the historical order of time certainly does not reverse, so this word is appropriate.
I have simply translated chronological order as Time Order, but this would allow any order.
In the Shorter Oxford, the word first appeared in 1593, and is written as The science of computing time or periods of time, and the Latin and original Greek are included. When Greek is written in alphabetic notation, it becomes kronos-+logia, and I felt the historical depth of English from the origin of vocabulary.
Dr. Hawking is trying to prove from the viewpoint of physics that time cannot be reversed and that time machines are impossible. Since it is not a mathematical method, I call it a hypothesis, but I think it is a highly advanced physically content. I have been thinking about imaginary time for a while, and I have written a small paper based on the doctor's thesis, so I have always been interested in his views.
My paper is as follows.
Aurora Time Theory Imaginary Time and Imaginary Space From HAWKING Stephen.
In the fall, I would like to make some progress on the main topic, Quantum Group Language, which has been continuing since 2003. I am currently in the preparation work.
https://srfl-lab.webnode.com/It is still fun to be able to clearly describe conceptual things in mathematics, if it works well.
There are not many approaches to such languages, and it is pioneering and attractive.
Take care.

I wasn't able to do that.

Letter to Y. Supplemental addition. On Language and Oriental Character Study.2018. Translated by Google
Letter to Y. Supplemental addition
Dear Y.,
"I think that Twitter numbers alone are not reliable enough to be treated as objective." I agree with this.
I was oversimplifying by showing only the results from Twitter. I made my judgment based on the results of each of the statistics , such as 8 general sites on Weebly in the past, 7 specialized sites on Webnode a little later, 3 sites on the invitational Wix, and 1 paper and essay site each on Blogger. So I don't think it's so self-satisfied. And I'm too old to be self-satisfied now.
However, the fact that visual language is becoming important has not been so popular in the history of linguistics since the modern era.
Saussure and others have formed linguistics based on the premise that language originates from speaking and listening.
In China, character studies have deepened dramatically in modern times, but this is largely due to Chinese characters.
Of course, Japan has also continued to retain its influence, including the introduction of Chinese characters.
In the West, there are few major linguistic fields such as graphology, and graphology has generally been placed at a lower level.
The research of Rokuro Kono of Japan is probably one of the most comprehensive works on graphology. He passed away last year, but his foundation was based on Chinese and Korean studies.
I take a slightly different route, but in the broader sense, I can say that I grew up on the academic achievements of Rokuro Kono and others.
One of Kono's memorable essays was published in the "Language" section of the Iwanami Lecture Series "Philosophy" in the 1970s, in which he stated that even if we trace the formation of language back to the level of cuneiform characters, he strongly felt that the basis of its structure was almost entirely based on the Chinese "Six Scripts." It was his great achievement to solve the difficult problem of the role of "transfer" in the "Six Scripts," which are the six ways of constructing Chinese characters.
In today's world, where the total amount of language has increased dramatically, there is no doubt that the proportion of written languages has rapidly increased due to their excellent preservation properties.
Computers have further expanded the situation of the increase in characters.
It is certain that speaking and listening are the origin of language, but whether this actually constitutes the historical essence of language is another matter.
History has expanded and become more precise through characters. And we are probably at the leading edge of this.
In this situation, it is my position to try to think about language.
When I said "transcendental," I meant that it is important to think about it from a historical perspective that spans a long span.
It's simple, but I just added a little bit.

Edward Sapir’s LANGUAGE AN INTRODUCTION TO THE STUDY OF SPEECH 1921 gave me a moment for study in 1980s while I was roaming about the darkness of not- getting any aim to study on language. I ever wrote a short paper being influenced in 2005 and after also wrote a memo on his book in 2014.

Edward Sapir, Language, 1921 / 2014
A moment came from his famous concept drift. At the near-end Chapter 7 Sapir wrote “the three major drifts“, that were the next.
“The drift toward the abolition of most case distinctions“
“the correlative drift toward position as an accompanied“
“the drift toward the invariable word“
This “the three major drifts” are all apparently seen in Chinese, especially in the classical written language. At my age 20s and 30s I continuously had read Qing dynasty’s classical linguistic books and papers. WANG Guowei, ZHANG Binglin, DUAN Yucai, WANGYyinzhi were the most reliable works for me.

Another pass way to mathematics 02jan13
In some 40 years I had concerned with mathematics to which I only had read several books as if it is the books of arts, for example, the verses of Chinese classics that are always obscure to understand by my Chinese ability. On the Tang Dynasty’s famous poet, DU fu’s work I had not clearly understood, probably till now. But the works are all pleasant in its own way. As like them mathematics I had read some books and papers. Definitely I could not make DU Fu-like work. But I liked DU Fu so much. And I also cannot understand mathematics anymore, but also like it. If there be not valuation that is usual done at school, more people maybe like it as same as they read poems putted before them. Mathematicians are put to study stern logics for its long history while the poets make poems that need severe rules of rhythm and meaning. That is all, for my standpoint on mathematics or Chinese classics,or my life.
The First Paper on Inherent Time in Word 2014
TANAKA Akio
26/07/2014 10:18
In 2003 I wrote a paper which shows the inherent time in word, titled On Time Property Inherent in Characters.
In those days I frequently looked upon the reading on linguistic history of Chinese characters. Qing dynasty is like a sitting sun delight with classical study of Chinese Classics.
In October 2002, I contracted pneumonia and entered a hospital two weeks. At the hospital pneumonia smoothly recovered to usual health. So I thought on my study life and my main target of language at the free time. From the hospital's window the Okutama Mountains were always clearly seen. Seeing the mountains, I gradually determined that the research must be led by clear description, not by traditional style of historical language study.
But my study was mainly put on WANG Guowei's style until then. His life work, Quangtangjilin is the only book in my life. Then at the hospital bed, I confirmed that my study was mixed to clear description and traditional WANG's work.
In March 2003, I stayed at Hakuba, Nagano for tasting the passing wintry season’s landscape. At the place, I suddenly floating up an idea of language study that word has time in it and that time and meaning are all shaped to be elements. At the result I finished the paper, On Time Property Inherent in Characters.

Quantum Language Frame and Transmission For Quantum Language Machine 3
Frame and Transmission
For Quantum Language Machine 3
TANAKA Akio
1 Two major concepts of quantum language are frame and transmission.
2 Frame is a dictionary. Transmission is a grammar. For details see the following papers.
Solidity and Flexibility January 14, 2006
Intention and Sentence January 20, 2006 January 29 Added
Quantum Language Machine January 23, 2006
Method of Quantum Linguistics January 28, 2006
Nature of Quantum February 5, 2006
Creation of Meaning February 12, 2006
3 Frame has solidity. Transmission has flexibility. Both of them correspond with KARCEVSKIJ’s duality of language.
4 Frame and transmission form a pair of EPR on quantum language.
5 Frame and transmission have impossibility of quantum separation.
6 Frame and transmission work in local operation.
7 Frame and transmission work in cloning situation at right angle condition on polarized photon.
8 Frame and transmission work in non-cloning theorem at random condition on polarized photon.
9 Now I present frame-transmission theory on quantum language. The theory is abbreviated to FTT.
10 In FTT, language is recognized as perfect mixed situation of solidity and flexibility.
11 For instance, in FTT, a solid sentence is at the same time treated as a variable sentence.
12 In FTT, Dictionary works at the same time as grammar for generating new situation on language circumstances.
13 For instance, in FTT, a new concept as a wordy condition in dictionary will be completed to a sentential complex of writing in ideal target. The situation will be used
for quantum language machine. On comprehensive FTT, further details will be developed in other papers.

M is nonsingular variety. Y is M’s submanifold.
QY(M) is blow up along Y.
φis arrow of algebraic variety
φis called QY(M)’s blow down.

Also birational mapping that is extension of blow up and blow down is presented.
Birational mapping is what rational mappingφ: V→W has mapping ψ: W→V. Here existsφ∘ψ= idV ψ∘φ=idW.

By birational mapping, algebraic variety V, W and X is presented. These three are formed to be new distinguished triangle that is supposed to be equivalent with V, W and X.

29 Forced Termination. From Papa Wonderful RI Ko1999 Translated by Google
29 Forced Termination
When using a computer, sometimes the forced shutdown message appears, which can be a hassle. It is usually possible to avoid this, but sometimes the computer will not accept any operations. When this happens, you have no choice but to force-shut down the computer, and the screen will go blank and return to the original screen. At first, Tadokoro also had to quickly press the keys to make the screen go blank many times.
In Tadokoro's case, the forced termination message appears when he is using a word processor, and the circumstances under which it appears are almost always the same. Word processor keystrokes are not particularly fast, but depending on the finger technique, they can be fairly fast, and in certain cases (not all cases) when the two fingers press keys almost simultaneously, the forced termination message appears. I think this is because when commands are sent to the computer almost simultaneously by simultaneous keystrokes, the computer's brain becomes confused as to which task it should select and perform.
Even so, software such as word processors run on top of an operating system such as Windows, so even if there is a genuine mistake in finger movements, it does not directly affect the OS, and although it should be quite safe, a kind of malfunction avoidance message such as forced termination is displayed. It cannot be said that the computer itself is to blame. There is probably also a problem with the software. It works normally if you restart it. However, it is true that there are many times when a computer becomes confused about its own judgment. So Tadokoro-san has learned from personal experience that computer-like systems can become quite imperfect under certain conditions.
In the mid-1980s, Tadokoro used an 8-bit computer, more than half of which were experimental. The operating system was PC/M from Digital Equipment Corporation. It was probably an excellent operating system for the time. He would insert thin 5-inch floppy disks, which are no longer in use, into the computer, but the floppy disk drive would sometimes go out of control. It would keep spinning for an eternity. He would then have no choice but to turn off the main switch and shut down the drive. This happened many times. Incidentally, even though he used the same floppy disk drive, when the software was BASIC, he never experienced such a runaway. PC/M was a much more complex operating system, so perhaps the 8-bit machine he was using at the time had difficulty processing the functions. Tadokoro's knowledge did not allow him to understand the true cause of such runaways, but he has always held onto the important experience that computers have a fair number of malfunctions.
So even now, when we hear on TV or in newspapers that the safety of advanced scientific application systems is being questioned, and we hear public relations personnel from the relevant departments declare that the systems are extremely safe, we cannot help but feel that the statements themselves are extremely unscientific. So, if an accident occurs with the system, the personnel in charge always respond in exactly the same way, saying that it was an incident that the system was completely beyond their control. If that person is involved in science, in other words, if they know the stability and instability of such systems, I think this is nothing but a complete deception to deceive people.
There is no way that a scientific system can be perfect. There is always a low probability of accidents. There is always a certain probability of "completely impossible events." A floppy disk drive in a computer once ran out of control for an unknown reason, and even now word processing software suddenly terminates. Since it is a flow of electrical signals, we cannot eliminate the possibility that it will occur in the future. This is because signals themselves are always in flux. Everything is a flow of electrons. The modern world, where computers are involved in most of the system infrastructure, exists on something extremely unstable from that point of view. A huge amount of data can be completely wiped from this world with just a few keystrokes on a computer. If it were manuscript paper, for example, it would be enough material to make a bonfire in the garden all day.
In the computer society, therefore, we need a fail-safe facility that always saves us from failure. A system has been devised to prevent the blanking of word processor manuscripts due to the forced termination mentioned earlier. It is called an automatic backup utility. Using this, unstable data on the screen is automatically stored in a highly secure hard disk every few minutes. This is also an electronic system, so it cannot be said to be perfect. Therefore, if necessary, another backup method will be prepared. By doing this, it will be possible to prevent almost all exceptional accidents. However, there is still a risk of data being destroyed all at once. For example, it is impossible to say that an extremely powerful signal, such as a virus, will not instantly enter all the machines and alter data. After all, it is an electrical signal that goes around the earth several times per second.
The floppy disk system's rampage continues to teach Tadokoro-san many things. When people working in the science field say things that are too unscientific, it makes me think that it is none other than the people themselves who need the fail-safe the most. To be more precise, it is the organizations and systems that include those people that need the fail-safe the most. Or perhaps we should first correct the following unscientific logic that is still widely used today:
"The system is perfect, so there's no need for a way to prevent it."
"It was completely unexpected that an incident would occur with this complete system."
"It was completely unexpected and we take no responsibility for it."
